Lisa Jackson has over 20 years of experience working as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in NHS and private settings, she also has 15 years of experience as a Clinical Pilates instructor. Lisa is trained in the use of acupuncture for pain relief, and is skilled at the clinical diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions affecting all areas of the body.

Lisa has worked as an NHS Advanced Specialist Physiotherapist in shoulder and upper limb conditions for 7 years within the Musculoskeletal Assessment and Triage Team. A large part of her role was to diagnose conditions affecting the neck and upper limb, using expert assessment skills, diagnostic imaging and blood tests, before deciding what services, if any, patients should be referred on to. This experience means that Lisa is able to quickly identify those patients who actually need to be referred on for further intervention, such as injection therapy or surgery, as well as those who will really benefit from physiotherapy.

Lisa particularly enjoys putting her manual therapy & pilates skills into practice rehabilitating complex upper limb conditions. She has trained in physiotherapy post breast cancer treatment at the Christie School of Oncology and since leaving the NHS has focused on developing the upper limb rehabilitation and post breast cancer physiotherapy services at Chichester Physiotherapy. Lisa has recently qualified as a “Pink Ribbon Programme Practitioner”. This aims to guide post breast cancer surgery patients through from early gentle post op exercises right through to harder levels aiming for a return to full sporting or pre op activities.
